No.

It is a case-to-case scenario. One would be a fool to lose a strong attacking initiative or an important tactical opportunity just to castle for the sake of castling.

True.

I think kurogkug is asking wether Kasparov has a weakness, and if that weakness reveals itself when he can't castle.

I wouldn't think Kasparov has any weakness.

BTW, here's an interesting short interview:

I was going to suggest to fire up Chessbase or Chess Assitant with a decent-sized database to find all the games where the winning side didn't castle but still won against a castled king.

It would be a perfect set of examples irregardless if it was Kasparov who pulled it off or not.

exactly, and im glad that you understand me bgangioni.and i understand what borgqueen's hatred it is,may be borgqueen is idolizing kasparov.i been idolizing kasparov too.

Again, use a database this time to search for all of Kasparov's games where he lost.

I doubt if that will be of any use because he does not have a consistent pattern to his loses. It only proves that he can be outplayed and occassionally blunders.

taots_11

im sorry if i said that you have a hatred borgqueen.i respect kasparov too.and i thank you that you answer my question.

taots_11

hi borgqueen,i have a question that i forgot to ask you last 2 days ago and again i dont want you to think that i want to go back.i understand your answer about the meaning of ''strategic effort''.so is this mean that it is involve in the strategy every time we use the word strategic in the first word of two words or not?,i mean like for example the words ''strategic effort'' means the word effort is involve in strategy, the words ''strategic importance'' the word importance is involve in strategy, the words ''strategic plan'' the word plan is involve in strategy.am i right or wrong borgqueen?.i wait again to your response borgqueen.

Well kurogkug, the "california Philippines" has had people wondering about your sanity in the past, so why not change it?!  Meh, up to you mate ;-)

I would say "california Philippines" means the member is living in California but is a Philippino national. That's the way it comes out in the profiles, and may explain the apparent "non-sense" of these nationality tags.

I could have put "South Africa Scotland" but differentiated it by putting "Res.(ident)" in front of South Africa, then "Scotland" which I intend to mean that "I reside in South Africa but am a Scottish national".
