mork calling Orson!

Remember the show?

For those who haven't heard, Robin Williams has died.

Like most, I first knew him as mork from Happy Days and Mork and Mindy.

Then as a teenager sneaking to the family room late at night to watch him on HOB.

As an adult I worked in a restaurant in SF that he was part owner. Talked to him a few times. Much different humor in person than on stage.

RIP Mr. Happy.

The other thread has really gone to the dogs. Robin you were one of the greats. It's a shame that depression robbed you of so much of the joy you gave us.

Boogalicious

My first memories are of his amazing voice as Genie, watching Aladdin cartoons as a kid, then as Mrs. Doubtfire, which always made our family laugh!

BishopTARDIS

Well I remember him from Happy Days and Mark and Mindy. His genius in that show was amazing.

From what I read, he fought a losing battle w/ alcohol thruout his life. I wonder if he was drunk when he died....that would be especially tragic. I've read he has not been sober this summer.

Just a terribly saddening loss
