while slinging code isn't how I feed my family, I do quite a lot in my spare time. One thing I've thought would be totally awesome is if Chess.com exposed some aspects of the site via an API that would allow coders like me to create our own widgets and whatsits. E.g. the ability to integrate status updates with multi-service status updaters (e.g. ping.fm) or tie authentication to MyOpenID, or access to some of the social aspects of C.C.

Just a thought. I know y'all are overwhelmed with feature requests and ideas, and I *really* dig C.C, so I'd love to see it improve -- anything y'all can do and any ideas we can contribute are a win-win for all of us.
