This post is in response to an upgrade ad I received in my chess.com mail box. Chess.com is a great site, but your auto-renewal policy is disrespectful and disingenuous. I will get a platinum membership under the following condition: that auto-renewal be by default off when signing up for membership. Please don't respond by telling me that auto-renewal can be turned off after you join, I know that already. I will post this message every time I get a membership ad in my mail box from chess.com, so I suggest that you turn these ads off until you change your auto-renewal policy.
