I personally feel that in every player's profile a column need to be there displaying the coming matches/tournaments the player have joined. It'll help the players to manage his/her game. It is found that once we join a number of matches it becomes difficult in our part to remember which one we have joined and which we haven't. More over when a huge number of matches start at once it becomes difficult in the part of players specially new ones to handle them and if they are playing multiple team matches the team have to suffer  as the player usually lose by time.

Good idea! There was a useful discussion about this sometime back (http://www.chess.com/forum/view/suggestions/upcoming-matches) but it has unfortunately disappeared.

    These other discussions

    group-team-match-monitoring-question

    list-quotmy-team-matchesquot

    my-team-matches-list

    where-are-my-tournaments

    limit-on-a-players-max-concurrent-games

shed some light on the issue.
