167 vs 167 and than in the end 168 - 166 and time outs 47 - 66 so the one who lost had the most time-outs... for me that means that both teams were equal to eachother, the end could go eachway! Well done every-one, I don't know if this was the biggest match...but sure it was a big match!
I've been absent from the group recently and have neglected my admin duties, but I would like to congratulate The Unit on a hard-fought win against a very tough opponent. GG!
Congratioulations, friends! This is an amazing victory for The Unit!
148 - 146 was still very close, but in the end we lost with 168-166! But if you look at the games losing on time: it was 47-66 so we also lost the most games on time, that into account, says me, that we could have easely win this match, as we lost 19 more games on time as they did!
All is very close 132 - 129 It can go both ways as there are 167 players!
Wow! won the second game on time after two moves. We'll take the points any way we can get them!
Well I managed a draw underrated in my first game...let's see if I can make something happen in the second. Close match!
no confucious is mentioning a hide & seek games
i didn't know Confucious played chess too!
Confucious say - play every game as if your life depends on it , find a good move ! then seek a better one . ( so an old wise chinese man shared with me )
Tough match. Looks like the lower boards really favor them. I see allot of what I would call "upsets" in our favor. Good job to every one. We need the best from all of us. I hope I can do my part. First game was surprisingly easy. I suspect the second one will be much more contested. Keep up the good work every body!
I managed a draw as Black against a good 2000+ oponent so I thought I'd look at our score and: Wow! 106.5-103.5 in our favor but it is such the slimmest of margins. Looks like this match could go down the wire. Regardless of who wins, no one can say that it was not well-contested!
We created a new tournament series: The Unit World League Series, not only for Uniteers, everybody can join.
The goal of these tournament series is to first play a tournament according to the region where you live. Then the first 10 players of each region will go battle it out in the final. This final tournament will have 60 players, based on the fact that there are six regions:

See you !
Another victory from me for The Unite! I tied the match again...
It's a nice possible explanation, DrChess_7960, but, even so, hard to believe once he is a premium member.
It may well be that justified007 is closing his account. Correspondence chess is a lot of fun and sites like chess.com are terrific but sometimes, real life fortunes change. Years ago, I had to quit a similar site and so I resigned all my games. Others, I just let my time elapse. It's unfortunate when you are in a team match but it happens.
holy cow! my opponent was on vacation..why should he accept the challenge and suddenly leaved like that...
