Congratulations for February 8

Mid-week congratulations to my amazing students!
~Alvin He who won the Monday Knights tournament hosted by Chess Cardinals. He also raised his rating to 1627 and is currently rated in the top 100 for his age in the country!!! (In May he was rated only 680)
~Avyukt Gupta who had an amazing tournament, drawing and winning against a number of higher-rated players! He gained more than 100 rating points and is now also rated top 100 in the country for his age
~Evan Jin who had a good tournament and gained rating
~Ishaan Sinha who defeated a much higher-rated opponent
~Charlie Glass, Yash Shelar, and Shreyas Kota for winning their weekly high school chess league matches
