Hello everyone!

Welcome my new blog, an offshoot of this blog, if you want to learn about clubs, go check it out: https://www.chess.com/blog/AiryWigglyTown/tips-on-making-and-managing-a-club !

This time I will be telling you guys another club business: Owner/Super-Admin/Admin/Coordinator powers!

Let's get right into it now!

First off, have you created a club from my first series on Tips On Making And Managing A Club? Well then, get managing your new club!!!

First of all, let me tell you about some positions that you can promote people into:

1. Coordinator( try to keep these active! )

2. Admin( do not make un-trustworthy people admin!! )

3. Super Admin( do not make random people super admin!!! )

I will tell you about some stuff these positions can do:

Coordinator: New Live Tournament, New Club Match, New Vote Chess

Admin: Create News, Ban a Member, New Live Tournament, New Club Match, New Vote Chess, Invite Members, New Daily Tournament, New Live Match

Super Admin: New Match, New Live Match, Created Live Challenges, Open Live Challenges, New Vote Chess, New Live Tournament, New Daily Tournament, Post News, Invite Members, Club Audit Log, Remove Closed Accounts, Sync Member Count, Club Settings

Second point: How to promote someone?

Check out these photos and you'll get it sooner or later!grin.png

Click on "Action" somewhere around the member's name, then select what position will you promote them to, like this:

Yeah click action...then choose what you want to promote this person to

There! Now, check out your owner/super-admin powers in this photo:

Here are some notes you should know before promoting someone:

  • Do not give people super admin unless you 100% trust them, even if you're a TINY BIT suspicious, don't give them super admin!
  • Do not give people any positions if they don't do anything.
  • Don't give random people admin or super admin or even coordinator if you don't trust them...at least 80%.
  • Never give someone else owner.
  • Don't be afraid to demote someone.
  • You shouldn't make someone a "Guard" to ban/mute/kick people who break rules, they're usually are dangerous/useless. YOU should be the guard as an owner.

Make sure that these points apply when you plan to promote someone!

Part 3 will be coming soon, stay tuned!!!
