Masters and coaches say that analyzing your own games is the way to improve. Since 2015 I started to train myself in the art of chess and I seem to be improving. Although there are some months that I cannot play so my skills go down the drain. And as I come near to my third year at chess.com I tried several approaches on how to analyze my own games.

I have used papers, but stopped a week later. ChessBase is good, but I felt alone. Recently I am placing my analysis in game archive comments and sometimes its fun as the opponent also give his/her own analysis of the game. But then, there are times that the opponent got offended. sad.png

In the midst of thinking of the best approach for me, I remember that chess.com is encouraging members to blog. That aint bad. I can even get a few tips from other people and become better at analysis and chess. So, starting today, I will blog on each of my Live games in bullet, blitz and rapid.

The first game is against pedramtamu of America under 2 minutes plus 1 second increment time control. Bullet is not my best time control as I can easily self-destruct due to time pressure. Nevertheless, I need to train myself in bullet.

The second game is against riki2000 of Macedonia for 3 minutes plus 2 seconds increment time control. I prefer blitz games because they are not too fast and not so long.

I dont have rapid game today. I am reserving my rapid rating for the Slow Chess League

My games demonstrated that I really have a lot of work to do. Especially with the second game where I saw some ways to improve my Panov Attack as I am not very successful with it in my other games as well.
