TRON: Ares Movie Review

Besides the score by Nine Inch Nails, I'm almost 1,000,000,000% sure no critic in the world said they liked this movie. They didn't like the acting, they didn't like the script, they didn't like the AI, and they didn't like how Disney "ignored" the ogs...

All I'll say is... I strongly disagree. 😉🤣

• "The Grid... a digital frontier..."
  Hmmmmm... now where have I heard that before... 💩🤣
• Ah, yes... let's zoom in on Kevin's eyebrow 😅
• Oh my gosh there was SO MUCH to process within the first stinkin' 2 minutes 🫨 (I cannot believe they actually mentioned Sam lol; really thought Disney would just pretend that movie never happened 🤣)
• Wait a second where did the Kim sisters come from and how did they get to be the CEOs of ENCOM? I get Julian doing the whole Dillinger Systems thing cuz of Ed or whatever but where did these girls come from again? Did they even explain it? COMMENT BELOW!
• The "creator" face that Julian uses with Ares is literally the Oz head lol
• This is what I could make out from the first words Ares spoke: "wjfoiewjproipodjwldkcndkjbdmcbsajhdwjhjrhfijofwoukehukhcnjdb... you're gonna need your umbrellas" 😅 (Somethin' about precipitation, I don't know 🤣)
• Why is the Yes Day guy in a Hello Kitty chair 😅
• "For every Doomsday scenario..."
  DOOMSDAY?!? 😯🤣
• "Programs... we fight..."
  No... I FIGHT FOR THE USERS! *Crickets Crickets* What the heck am I even saying anymore 😅
• "GRIND YOU INTO DUST!"
  Guys, even if I were to give you context for this quote, you would still be just as confused as I am, I promise 🤣
• "Sometimes you have to sacrifice your knight to expose their queen..."
  Chess reference? 💩
• The fact that they tried to make the Athena lady running up a parking garage so cinematic 😭😅
• "Here goes nothing..."
  "Or here goes something!"
  ACTUALLY, what we propose to do is to change something into nothing and back again; then you might just as well have said "here goes something, here comes nothing" 🤣 (Still don't know why they included that whole yap session in the og 😅)
• Yo I am so glad they didn't make Kevin come back to life like... fr... (As much as I think the whole "ghost" thing is cheesy, it kinda worked for me in this situation ngl 🙃)
• The scene where Kevin gave him the code was giving Soul vibes lol (There were also a couple of songs in there that reminded me of that film too 🙃)
• Oh dang why does Flynn's arcade still exist if no one is using it 🤣 (ig it's just too legendary to get rid of 😅)
• Is it just me or does Athena's eye makeup just keep getting worse and worse in every shot of the movie's ending 🤣
• Haha the Ducati at the end (I might have picked up on 2 or 3 references to the og Tron movies, but I feel like a lot of them flew over my head bc it's been a couple months since I watched those ones...)
• Hey, Disney, the franchise is called "Tron", so... ummmm... where was he in this movie? 😅 (I vaguely remember him apparently "dying" at the end of Legacy but I thought for sure they were gonna bring him back in this one, even if it was for just a short time...)
  
• Loved the Sark costume in the mid-credits scene; that was awesome (Also... the identity disk was literally WHISPERING "Sark"... can we please talk about that? COMMENT BELOW! 🤣)
• No one liked the live-action Lilo & Stitch (Except maybe me 😅) and yet that's getting a sequel bc it made over a billion dollars; this one on the other hand, I'm a little more worried about; even though they set it up for a fourth film in like 8 different ways, I have a feeling Disney isn't gonna continue with this franchise after losing 40 MILLION DOLLARS from this one movie; I was really hoping for this film to be the start of more sequels... I'm really disappointed it flopped ☹ (BUT ALSO, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around why it flopped... I could tell Disney tried very hard to make this kinda like the og by including the whole thing with Kevin and referencing the originals SO many different times... why all the hate?)

I'll admit, when I was first researching this movie, (CLICK HERE) I wasn't 100% sure it would be worth the risk... but I watched it, and I'm glad I did.

It wasn't too complicated and I thought Disney did a very good job trying to get this to be a hit... unfortunately, the critics had other plans. (Not me though... it worked on me for some reason 🤣)
