Welcome to puzzle road!

I’m today in a very bad mood, because I lost 100 points in less than an hour… but I still did a nice checkmate, which made me happy. I share it today with you in this puzzle road! Please tell me you like it…

The checkmate is the objective of chess, but happens only a few times in a day, because most of the opponents do give up or because you thought about your moves too long, and lost on time… yeah, I think you can feel I’m in a bad mood, by reading this…

8/ A checkmate to win 1 of 15 games… (Topic: easy checkmate)

This checkmate is relatively easy, so we won’t analyze all the moves, but only watch the possible moves and ideas behind them.

We can observe that the rook is on the same line as the king, which does pin the g-pawn. We can use because of this pin the square f6 later probably. We will do that. Moreover, we will block the king on the right corner of the board and try to checkmate there. Furthermore, we could possibly later make a double attack with Knight and Rook. Nothing more to know about the position, I sincerely hope you had a better chess-day than me…

Greetings,
@Kyu13
