Ever wanted to join a Titled Tuesday tournament but didn't have a title? Untitled Tuesday is the next best thing! That's a blitz tournament following the same format, scheduled to start shortly after the official Titled Tuesday event finishes.

Time Control: 3+1

Format: 10 Rounds Swiss

Start Time: 3:30 PM Pacific Time (23:30 UTC)

 Join Untitled Tuesday!

*Entry is restricted to untitled players who have been on the site for at least three months.

Titled Tuesday has become a weekly event since April. As expected, Untitled Tuesday is following their footsteps. Time control is changed to 3+1 and the points system has been revised as well. This allows more players to earn more points from each tournament.

Few players have joined the admin panel to give @MGleason a helping hand in arranging the additional tournaments. We have also got a new logo

Thanks to @msd238 for the new header image!

For Asian players, that's always Untitled Wednesday! Saturday event is being played at irregular times (once in a month) and the participation rate is quite low. Come on Indians, Persians, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Turks, Arabs... are you afraid of losing rating points?? Asia got more variety than any other continent. Join now and reflect that variety on the leaderboard

Game Analysis

Let's try some puzzles from November events. White to move and win.

Can you find checkmate which was missed in the game?

Pawn endgame which is a draw! So many players miss it.

I've played some of my best games in this event. Also lost some games in completely winning position. 3+1 is little too fast for the streamers

Few more upsets from November events... 1653 defeated 2022!

1316 defeated 1882!

Good to see some Bangladeshi player performing in this event (at 5:30am local time)!!

Current Leaderboard

No titles, no prizes, 100% fun! Still we have got some exciting contest going on. Three times winner of this event is currently on 2nd place!

*Yet to be confirmed by the admin panel.

Specially for U1800 rated players, that's an extremely challenging event. No wonder, 8 out of top 14 are from USA. Timing of this tournament is favouring them. If the Asian players join in good number, hopefully this event will be arranged couple of hours before the Titled Tuesday event starts.

Friends from LCWL

@Midav_Veahkar (Russia) has played this event many times along with @Marignon.

@Tudorache_M (Romania) is 6 times weekly winner of this event.

Miss_Tical (now @LonelySabishii, Slovakia) made it extremely close in the last season and finished with 96 points, only 10 points behind the winner @SmyslovFan (USA)!

Live Broadcast

We have got some regular streamers who usually stream the Tuesday events.

Tuesday event (Nov 24) had one of the largest crowds of this year!
