Hi, Chess.com friends! I recently played in the Casis Chess tournament's Open Section, a 4 round Swiss with a 45 minute 5 second delay time control. I got 3/4 points, winning $66 and also increasing my rating from 1488 to 1594. I think I played pretty well, and I would love to get feedback from you guys.
So that was the first game. He was only in second grade, and he played remarkably well. I think luck saved me at the end.
Yay! I was pumped after defeating two 1700s. But my fortune didn't last. I was paired with the top guy, a 2174.
Guess who won? Not me!
It was a quick game, but I was satisfied with my results from rounds 1 and 2. Time to prepare for the final game.
So those were the games! They were really fun. Please leave your thoughts in the comments section. Thanks for reading!
