The variants, new paradigms of Chess

Chess variants are contradictions of the original game, they represent true paradigm shifts. In other words, a paradigm is any model, pattern or example that establishes the rules of how to do things. A variant is a change in the basic assumptions of chess.

According to the rules, you cannot win at chess: giving checks (3check), putting the pieces where you want (except in row 1 and 8, Crazyhouse), taking the king to the center (The King of the Hill), the initial position of the pieces can change in their order (960), playing as a team and passing the pieces to you (Bughouse) or playing Chess for 4. Someone broke the rules, did not follow the rules or routines and innovated.

Why is it hard for us to play chess variants? Because the innovation of new products affects our thought pattern, belief system or conceptual framework of how we perceive reality, in chess it is quite a challenge to play the different variants. We have to be constantly changing our habits, adapting to new rules, even those that you never thought could change and that for some means radically changing what we did before. For this reason we must change the original generic name because it is a different product.

These variants are examples of new product development based on technology. In chess the variants arise by changing the board, the pieces or the rules, in Wikipedia there are more than 50 games derived or related to chess.
I like all the ones on chess.com, if I had to choose it would be Crazyhouse because the essence of the game is to place the pieces you captured in the most strategic, most unexpected and/or surprising place. In standard play "the pieces that remain on the board are important, not the ones that leave"; in Crazyhouse both are important. It is already difficult to predict future moves on the board in standard chess, even more so to predict the possible moves of those pieces that are off the board, which were yours and now are your opponent's, and vice versa.
And you, which variant do you like the most and why? Do you already have another new chess variant to develop a new product? Variants are the best, it's a great club in which my son and I also participate. I recommend it to you.

By the way, we organize the 2023 Welcome Series at Global Citizens Club, on Saturday 7 (5 variants tournaments) and Sunday 8 (4 standards tournaments) We are waiting for you!
All tournaments are 30 minutes(3m) to have fun and play the entire Series.
