How a good trick can save your life
Hello chess.com. Almost two years ago I played a tournament in Isla Margarita. I got there my first IM norm. Today I come with one of the most important victories I got there. It was versus IM Jorge S. Bobadilla. It was a hard game; I had to win if I wanted to keep any possibility to make the norm. It seems like I got a good position in the opening, but in the middlegame things were not so good and my opponent got a small advantage. I tried to keep the position as open and complicated as possible to avoid draws, but it was not looking good. Then I found a good trick that saved my life. I hope you like this.
