A Somewhat Dirty Swindle

A Somewhat Dirty Swindle

The following swindle has always amused me. In the following game, I have thus far played absolutely terribly, and my opponent has played quite well. My "best" move now is Qb4 after which White at least avoids mate, but he is clearly lost and only gets to suffer for a while longer. Instead, I tried to muddy the water with a tricky move that sets a trap. Note: Analysis and side variations are included in the "move list".

After the above sequence, White can spring his trap.

As we see in the above continuations, White still needs a good move. Fortunately, there is one at his disposal. It is this second move that makes the sequence memorable for me.
