Rochester Championship Final Round

Recap of the fifth and final round of the Rochester Championship. I played against National Master Thompson, always a formidable opponent to face. We played a Caro-Kann Exchange variation with an early Qc7. The game had an interesting dynamic because I only needed a draw to secure clear first place! Playing for the draw got me into a messy situation and turned into opposite-side castling! We have a ChessGoals Caro-Kann Course that covers the Exchange Variation.
