Draws by fortress and stalemate

Some time ago I looked with the old chess master at some endgame studies, a dozen of draw ones.

A fortress is a chess feature which might not be known very well by beginning chess players, but can come in very handy to make a draw, so I'll give some examples first :


Fortress example 1 :

White has a queen against rook and bishop and two pawns.

White will be unable to win easily here, as black has a fortress, and black could try to play for a win instead.


Fortress example 2 :
