Opening traps and miniatures

We can learn a thing or two from really short wins and losses.

One of the first things that I did learn about was the Damiano Defense.

Very interesting to learn about the pushing of the f pawn in the opening, which can cause trouble because of a quick queen check.

It made a big impression on me when I first saw it on the wooden chessboard.

Also quite nice is the Lasker trap in the Albin's counter gambit :
