Years ago I analysed a line of the Trompovsky opening ... for black.
I found a line which gives an advantage against lower rated players very quickly. This will not work against stronger players, but, you, dear reader, could of course use it against weaker players yourself.
I played in a Trompovsky thematic tourney today. In all games played with this line, the white players played the bad continuation.

Meanwhile I used Stockfish to look at this line.
Stockfish evaluates the e4e5 move from white as +0.1 but claims that e5xf6 is a mistake, and claims that Bg5-c1 would be better, like this :
