Thai Open - 4th round

In the 4th round I was playing versus another Chinese junior who had a modest Elo rating of 2053, but in the previous rounds demonstrated a 2500+ performance! In fact, he would end finishing this tournament with 2400+ ratings performance, narrowly missing the requirements for an IM norm.

In the opening phase we both tried to surprise each other and ended up in a position that neither of us knew really well...

I was a bit disappointed with making a third draw in a row. Little did I know that I was just in the middle of a draw spell!
