Our club's motto

* The established and active club for players at chess.com who would like to practice and feel the atmosphere of the Classical 90m+30s / 45m+45s / 60m+30s game.

* Founded since April 2022 with 365 members (when this is posted on Oct 11, 2024)

* Implementing classical time control format by online. Relocated, due to retirement, far away from any major chess centers, commuting to Classical OTB events is no longer a practical option for some players. This Classical online club makes it possible without having to navigate travel, traffic, or hotels.

* At a moment when the emphasis is overwhelmingly on blitz and bullet games, this club fills a need and reminds us of the way chess was meant to be practiced.

* @fhunfi the Founder and TD (tournament director) assures the participants that the tourney had been and will always be conducted with passion, commitment, care, and love to our royal game

and would try his best to minimize the number of forfeited games by communicating gently with players who had difficulty in scheduling etc.

* We apply the most humanly format for players amid their busy life.

Date/time to play the game: considering the players are from various Continent, we will never use a fixed time, but instead the players will have 14 days (2 weeks) for any single round, to negotiate with your opponent, to find the best time to play the game within that 14 days timeframe.
