Norway Chess round 5 highlights

In round 5 of Norway Chess 2025, all of the games were drawn, which meant that they were all sent to armageddon. In this round, GM Magnus Carlsen won his mini-match vs GM Fabiano Caruana to grow his lead over his closest competitor, Caruana. While that, GM Hikaru Nakamura had winning positions in both the classical and armageddon portions against GM  Arjun Erigaisi, but blundered and lost. GM Wei Yi had maybe a winning chance against World-Champion GM  Gukesh Dommaraju , but he made it up by winning in the armageddon.
