Bad cached code could cause issues. Either with a bug that got fixed but the browser was using the old code or just corrupted files. Cached files usually have a max age as well, so it could clear the problem files automatically, if that was the cause
It's no good blaming the browser cache Martin - which is your standard response - as everything was and is working perfectly on everything elsewhere on my computer. The glitch has now disappeared completely, so nothing to do with the browser cache at all. It just means that due to this onsite glitch I have lost a vacation day
...does that disable the graphical data burden? It wasn't slowing down ~3 weeks ago. Just this last major push to animate the puzzle points graphics has really slowed down my browser.
@Martin_Stahl -- the latest rounds of updates have added in a large lode / burden on the browser to compute. I've seen a slow-down of puzzles and all the new graphics encapsulated in them. Could we PLEASE refrain from adding even more to all the graphics and sounds for tactics?
I came on tonight to play my games as usual - and none of the games awaiting a move became clear - only those in which I had made a move, and they were greyed out as usual. Have tried several times, but now I have had my games paused, so will lose a day's vacation. Has anyone else had that ?
@Martin_Stahl -- again, I have to go find this magical unicorn setting. Already, in the lower-left browser corner is an Alert Icon. If I need notifications to attend, I can go these in one click. The pop-ups in the lower-right corner duplicate those Alerts AND give me no control over when and how I see those notifications. Please End It.
