Most caching has a TTL value (time to live) where it will refresh on it's own after that time. I can't say for sure what you saw was something like that but it could have been.
Marti - your response to mine with "cached codes" is excellent moderation using tech explanation probably provided, but is illogical, as nothing else was affected and without any changes to the cache the system was restored. This was clearly a systemic issue matching all the other floating bugs & glitches on here

Why was the animation for game review changed? This only makes it harder to see what the coach is saying, the text pops up letter by letter. Anyone else having server issues? I am trying to update my blog, but it crashes every time I try to revise it. Everything else is working fine...Any suggestions?
Suggestion: When there are community events, like the variant championships, space them out more so people who have school or people who are on the other side of the world can play in them.
