I really need help with these two openings and if you could help me think of lines If anywhere I should of played something else tell me. 1. This is played by ry. Red 1. g3 (opens up the king pawn diagonal) Blue 1. c7+.Yellow 1. h12. Green 1. I8+. Then for both r&y, they block with the bishop. First question, what should B&G do? Block with pawn, knight or bishop? Second question, If you could, can you go on the theory (lines) that will happen. I've played this at least 5 times and lost them all. (This is for ry) 2. This was a game I played. Red started normally with h3. Then Blue went c8. This led yellow to a check and a free bishop by red. Green moves I6 after this and red move bishop back to BI1. d7 by blue (I wanted to get the queen out so I guess c7 also works). D13. Now comes the sacrifice. Bxh3. First question. What should red do after this? Qh2? Second question, do you think this works? Third Question. If it does please go on with the theory. If any move was wrong please tell me. @Timalina2 PS: 1. Any decent lines for 1. nf3 (I really wanna know some good lines)
fourplayerchess Apr 14, 2022
*Please note this opening is best suitable for players who have a 1700+ rating. For a normal game, the Sicilian is one of the most common openings. In four-player chess, there is a similar move. It may seem similar, but the effect is different. The lines are very hard to remember so don't stick to this opening if you are versing a high rated player. Most commonly red starts with h3. Then blue moves d6. The point of this move is that when the red queen moves out then the blue queen can take reds f pawn. Then yellow moves h11 (There are a lot of moves that are possible but we will focus on this one). If yellow had moved h12 then there will be less flexibility for the queen. Then green will move l9. Now the smartest move is just moving the queen out to either J4 or K5. If blue takes, the F pawns with the queen, then simply yellow will take the b7 pawn with his bishop which is checked. This results in a queen. Because even 2000+ plus players fall for this I will explain the line (not the worst disadvantage for blue and green). Then green has to move Qm8 to protect the queen and then Nd3 to attack the queen. The past 4 moves are shown here: Next blue will take the bishop with his bishop (Bxb7). This allows the bishop to attack the red queen and has the advantage of moving the rook out (In other words a chance). Yellow moves I12 this move allows yellow to attack the green queen. Then green moves his queen to h4 (Qh4). Now there are a lot of other lines. I will not explain it here. Put in the forums topic what you would play. Here is the moves and link to this opening theory. [Variant "Teams"][RuleVariants "EnPassant"][CurrentMove "12"] 1. h2-h3 .. b6-d6 .. h13-h11 .. m9-l92. Qg1-j4 .. Qa7xf2 .. Bi14xb7+ .. Qn8-m93. Ne1-d3 .. Ba6xBb7 .. i13-i12 .. Qm9-h4 Here is the link: Sadly I put it on a board for analysing (not a game) so there isn't a link. Want to learn more, write in the forums if you want to. I will expand this opening theory (go on with the lines or if 5-10 people want to learn more. I also want to learn more about teams (I am a 1700+ nearly 1800 dew to bad partners). I will keep posting opening lines. Ps: Here is a fact. This opening was played in the 4pc team's world chess championship. (I watch them play it but now I can't find it ) Pss: This is mainly made for BG but also can help RY

This is a crazy game that I just played. I was Blue. All four of our queens were right next to my king, there was a queen sacrifice, and Red resigned when he had Mate in 1. It was nuts. https://www.chess.com/4-player-chess?g=11283252-19 This is a checkmate and I knew it was going to be a checkmate in the game but after thinking it through I don't think it has to be a checkmate. I am assuming I am missing something though. What am I missing? If Green's queen proceeds to take the Red queen (Qxm7), then red moves (Bxm7 maybe?) and then Blue takes the yellow queen (Qxm8), no kings will have died. Right? Does this have to be a checkmate?
I invite you to the club-Шахматы для 4 игроков..
