In the Chess.com beta analysis board for daily chess, diagram arrows (in yellow) have appeared for the past 3 days. I have changed nothing to my settings. I simply play out variations on the analysis board. I give not extra instructions except "delete", "promote" and adding a comment.

I am not a developer, but today when I checked my daily chess games they all had weird code that appeared in the move notation along with the moves. I was using the Chrome browser on my chromebook when I visited chess.com. I simply clicked on daily chess and on my first game, and the code was there in the list of moves. Furthermore, it was in all my other games too: This code did affect the functionality of the game, besides making it harder to click on the correct move, but it looks bad and should not be there. It should have just showed the moves and not put in the "list.algebraic" stuff every time. Has anyone else had this problem and can this please be fixed? Thanks!

What if we could have like a tournament that goes on forever no matter what? That means if you heard about it but forgot to join it (like an arena) you could join when you had time?

Since switching to beta mode I'm experiencing glitches during daily games in analysis mode. Sometimes when saving or trying to delete moves, moves are not saved or even the board goes back to starting position of the game. Frustrating because several lines I've plotted have been lost. Hope you can fix soon. Thanks

I do not know how to, "copy and paste a URL into a web browser", I was asked to do this and I am lost. I think people do it all the time and I wish I knew how to do this when asked??? copy and paste??? Could someone give me an example, please!!

I'm having trouble promoting pawns. In either Firefox or IE. I get the box that offers the selection of which piece, but unable to click on any of them. I've noticed this for a while, even in Analysis.

So what's happening is I'll check my notifications, see I got a trophy, or I finished a game. I see a message saying "you have this achievement" or "check your game with so-and-so". If I click on trophy, I get sent to achievement page and nothing happens. No pop up, and the notification stays there. When I click on my profile page, it pops up but notification still stays. As for game, it just won't go away no matter what when clicking unless I delete the notification. What should happen? Either pop ups for achievements only on trophy page or have notification send to the profile page. And both should delete themselves automatically like forum posts, club notices etc.

Problem: When I login, the process initiates, but does not go to the home page. If I enter www.chess.com for the URL in the browser again, then I go to the page logged in and ready to go. Browser: Chrome OS: Windows 7 and 10

We just released Achievements to all users, and it has re-sparked a debate we've had for a while while developing Achievements. Since our Beta users have been seeing achievements for a while, we thought you might have some good insight into the right way to handle this.  The big debate for us has been how transparent we should be on how these achievements are earned. On one side, we think that discovering how an achievement is earned is part of the fun. On the other side, we think that knowing exactly how an achievement is earned makes them more fun to work for. What do you think?

When I look at my screen, the alerts show up as 12 and there is 1 letter. When I hover over alerts, they disappear but that does not happen in my letters. When I click letters, there are none. How do I fix this? Thanks.

I changed my background from space to ocean, but at my home screen, it shows up as space. Everywhere else, it is ocean. How do I fix this? Thanks.

In the previous one, First Steps sent me to the Tactics. It reappeared at 5:55 P.M CDT 2/7/2018. This time it sent me to ChessTV! This problem needs to be fixed.

I check my notifications tab, see a club notification e.g. "Club has a new note". click to go the the club page to see the note, it takes me to an error page saying it does not exist. Don't know if coders are changing the links right now to fix it, but just wanted to give a heads up just in case.

Playing quite a bit of (not very good) bullet chess recently, I have noticed the clocks are inexplicably not kept right by the board in focus mode. On a large screen the indication of time left can be a very long way from the board. There's a fairly obvious need for a little tweak to rectify this, I would say.

Overview : My settings for where to go to after playing a move for one daily chess are constantly changing. It takes me to my homepage although my setting has been set to go to my next game. I have to keep changing my settings again and again. Environment : Mac Book Air, Version 60.0.3112.113 (Official Build) (64-bit). Steps to reproduce : Click on a daily game where it is your move. Play your move. After that, it should take you to some page, depending on what your settings are. It can either take you to your homepage, the next available game or stay on the same game. Result : For me, my setting is to take me to my next available game after playing my move. Instead, my settings somehow change and take me to my homepage. I constantly have to go to my settings and change it back. Expected result : It should take you to either your next available game, homepage or stay on the same page depending on the settings.

Hi. All of a sudden, the board and pieces are too big for my screen, i cant play a game. Please help.

When I try to post a diagram of a chess board, it's just blank. Here's a picture:

I was thinking and it occurred to me that not one chess host has figured out an "ideal" way of promoting It's always move it to promotion square and you have the option of 4 pieces... Or you can autopromote to queen all the time... Now my thinking was we are in a stage of a "speed era" where everyone is playing bullet or blitz, and rapid, so they may not have time to change settings on and off or may not know how/ all other reasons. What if.... We had a bar with piece selection and that was the auto-promote? So there's a small side bar with Queen, Bishop, Rook and Knight (kind of like the bar for crazyhouse) and it has one selection which shows and if you want to change the auto-promote to a knight in the middle of the match, you can! it makes it a lot faster for promoting and makes time scrambles all the more interesting! As you can see... plenty of room on left or right side

When in a game, the URL takes me to the home page. When on my home page, the link is correct and takes me to the club messages. Windows 10, Chrome
