Just noticed that in the instance where an opposing team offers a draw, declining that draw marks the game as not requiring a move and it doesn't appear in the list of vote chess games that need attention when you cycle through them. This will be causing people not to vote for moves and potentially disrupting the course of games.

The registration of players in daily team matches normally has an "Lock registration" button for admins to declare their team ready and preparing the start of the match. This "Lock registration" button is missing if the match has been set up with a player minimum and the number of registered players is below the minimum. Under normal circumstances, this makes sense, of course: You don't want the teams to be locked unless the minimum is met. Still there is a situation in which the missing "Lock registration" button is a serious drawback: If both teams come to realise that it is not realistic any more to reach the player minimum, they may want to start the match with less players nevertheless. In the present set-up this is impossible. As an admin of a league in which this case (teams falling short of the player minimum) occurs regularly, I would prefer to have the "Lock registration" always available. If an advanced filtering rule is an option, one might think about activating the "Lock registration" button only if the match has a fixed starting date which passes without triggering the match start because of lacking players.

Ik had already posted this as an add-on in the thread https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/bug-when-pasting-links-in-group-notes but I'm not sure whether is has been noted. Therefore I repeat it in this dedicated thread. I often miss the possibility to post a link to a specific comment in a forum thread. Wouldn't it be simple to make something like https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/bug-when-pasting-links-in-group-notes?CommentCount=3 possible? At the moment, it seems impossible to properly refer back in a forum discussion.

No idea what happened here. Refreshes, clearing cache and refreshing is not helping. 1 in 5 times, the page renders properly. 80% of the time, I'm getting this ↴ Back to v2 for safety...!

Overview: While watching unwatched videos on chess.com, the progress indicator plays till 3 minutes and stops. Video continues to play, but the bar stays on 03:00 minutes. Environment: Google Chrome 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit) Mac OSX 10.13.1 (17B1003) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Learn > Videos > (https://www.chess.com/videos/ ) 2. Pick a random video you have not watched (Status unwatched) (I.e. https://www.chess.com/video/player/time-counter-attacking-in-the-opening ) 3. Start watching, watch for 5-10 minutes 4. Hover your mouse over the video to see the video progress. It now show 3 minutes even if you are 10 minutes into the video. If you skip forward in the video, the indicator still says 03:00. (See attached video) Result: As seen in the video and screen shot above, the progress bar has stopped at 03:00. The video is actually around 03:16 in the picture and still playing. Expected Result: Progress bar should show the real position in the video so you know where you are. Now you don't. If reloading the page after the video has changed status to watched, it does not occur.

I didn't see any other post about this, unless I missed it. But when I tried to use this, once it loaded, the pieces on the A1 and H1 squares were really hard to see. I tried to resize the board, but it seemed to have these squares partially cutoff. Is there a way to see the edge of the board? Am I missing something? This board is pretty sweet being that it looks more like you are actually sitting at a real board. Cheers

When you have a notification for a new forum topic, the notification is not removed when the topic is removed. Make sure you have a notification for a removed forum topic. Click on the notification. You get a page saying the forum topic is removed. Expected result: The notification is removed Actual result: The notification stays, you have to remove it manually

Yesterday winnieourson has joined France/Deutschland Group, he's still a member there, however the request still remains asking me if I want to accept him or not.

Problem with the impossibility to join the match appeared again as already some time ago. Players from China and South Africa cant see the roster and join the match: https://www.chess.com/live#tm=611 We would appreciate if there can be the focus on bugs with Live chess team matches as issues are appearing frequently and it is impacting the quality of the World League in blitz with was established and few GMs already participated in it.

Overview: Can not enter previous (main) variation when pressing back Environment: Chrome, Windows 10 Steps to Reproduce: Enter any daily game Go to analysis board Make at least one move on the board Press the "Previous Move" Button and discover that nothing happens when you reach the end of a variation Result: Analysis does not reenter main variation after creating minor variation, and also IT KEEPS ON MAKING THE SOUND OF THE LAST MOVE(the sound of a piece taken in my case) ITS KILLING ME Expected Result: Main variation should show again Yellow highlighter on the current move also dissappears.

I see this from time-to-time when making moves in Online/Daily chess games. It does not affect me much because I gave up playing in Live games long ago, but this may be part of the reason so many are upset with Timeout losses in Blitz & Bullet games.

Hey all, please keep an eye out for the following:   - Make sure all the piece request buttons for bughouse work well - When observing top games make sure it floats nicely from one top game to the next if the players you are currently watching stop playing. (only happens if you have "auto watch top games" on in your settings - If you try to send a challenge to someone who is already playing, or you are already playing and don't have multi games set, make sure the error message you get makes sense - If you are playing on a mobile device, keep an eye out for the post game pop up and make sure it looks normal.  - If you play multiple games at the same time, make sure that switching from game to game works smoothly - When observing check that the engine eval and eval bar are both working correctly!   Thanks everyone! Overview: Can't send Trophy to my opponent from my finished game Environment: Google Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (32-bit), Windows 8.1 x64, laptop Lenovo G50 Steps to Reproduce: Enter a finished game and try to sedn Trophy to opponent Result: Can't sent Trophy and get an error message: "Invalid game" & "There was an error precesing the request. Please Try again!. But if you try again, the result is the same error! Expected Result: Just get the Trophy sent to the opponent!

I think people who are running ladders would be much benifited to be able to see challenges between two other players...if someone says "I challenged this other person to a match" we should be able to go into their profile and see this for ourselves. Someone tell me if this is already a thing. Thanks,

In the Daily Chess Analysis board, promoting to a new piece, where the original move in the variation is the same pawn move to the eighth rank, with a different resulting piece promotion, does not result in the creation of a new variation, and plays the original move in the variation. Browser: Google Chrome OS: Windows 10 Device: Desktop Computer Procedure: Step 1: Open Daily Chess and select an 'active' or in progress game. Step 2: Open the analysis board. Step 3: Make moves in order to achieve a position with Black to move and promote a pawn to any piece legally. Step 4: Play the pawn to promote and click the 'Knight' option. Step 5: Press the left arrow key in order to go back one 'ply'. Step 6: Play the pawn to promote and click the 'Queen' option. This procedure results in a promotion to a knight instead of a queen on the second attempt, thus failing to create a new variation. Demonstration: Go into an active Daily Chess game and open the analysis board. Reach a position with a legal pawn promotion to any piece the immediate next move. Played 49. d1=N. Moved back one ply. Moved the pawn to the d1 square and clicking the 'Queen' option. The move 49. d1=N?! is again executed and a new variation beginning with d1=Q! is not created. Suggested solution: Program a rule in the analysis board to check for a different input for pawn promotion and create a new variation with the new move if the rule fires. Thank you to the Chess.com Beta Team for reading this bug report. UPDATE: I tested this procedure on the Analysis board under the 'Learn' tab and the bug does not appear to occur. It only occurs with active Daily Chess games.
