Right now I am studying Alekhin's chess life. I like his style and plan diversification for different positions. I read about Bogoljubov and his interesting personality. Is it worth to study some games from these World Chess Championships? If you have some suggestions, comment below. Alekhine-Bogoljubov 1929 Euwe - Alekhine 1937

Dear Chess Friends! It’s a common mistake for many chess players to not see the whole board when calculating the lines. Especially, if the theater of war is located on a certain and small part of the board. That’s why it’s easy to blunder “a long move” that can be played with a piece in the distance. Such type of moves allows us to join the piece into the attack and surprise our opponents. However, of course, the idea of such moves is not only to do something unexpected but to get a material advantage on a certain part of the board, which is very often decisive for the game result. I’m glad to welcome you to the 61st webinar “How to Take an Advantage of Geometric Pattern of your Position?" where you will learn how to use the geometry of the board and coordinate your pieces properly. I'll explain how to find “long moves” and when to play them so that your opponent isn’t prepared. Of course, everything will be illustrated by GMs’ games. The games played by top grandmasters I'm going to demonstrate at the webinar (and, of course, explain the ideas behind their moves): Alisa Galliamova – Sergei Rublevsky German Fridstein – Vladimir Simagin Dimitri Reinderman – Viswanathan Anand Come to the webinar, learn how to join your passive pieces in the attack, and win more games! The webinar starts on Sunday (20th of December) at 9 a.m. (EST), 2 p.m. (GMT), 5 p.m. (Moscow time). This webinar is free. Please, register for the webinar with this link: https://tricksofchess.clickmeeting.com/geometry/register Please, don’t forget to register in advance and reserve your spot in case of a high number of attendees. See you at the webinar! FM Victor Neustroev

Dear Chess Friends! This is FM Viktor Neustroev and we continue our series of 5 videos devoted to the unofficial title “The Best Player of all time” this is the fourth video devoted to the best Indian player Vishwanathan Anand. Anand is a national hero in India where chess is quite popular. And, of course, Anand has been playing at the top level for many many years and at least for that he already deserves to be on the list of Candidates for the title “The Best Player for All Time” By the way, today (December, 11th) is Vishy’s birthday! Congratulations to Vishy! Let’s learn about his contribution to World Chess and observe his game played in 2008 against Vladimir Kramnik! Viswanathan Anand is an Indian chess grandmaster and former world chess champion. He became the first grandmaster from India in 1988, and is one of the few players to have surpassed an Elo rating of 2800. Anand is a five-time world chess champion. Once got a title of FIDE World Champion, but then in 2008 outplayed Vladimir Kramnik and became a real World Champion. He defeated Veselin Topalov in 2010 and Boris Gelfand in 2012 and kept this title until lost a match to Magnus Carlsen in 2014. It’s not only me, but, for example, Vladimir Kramnik also said that he considered Vishy Anand to be a colossal talent, one of the greatest in the whole history of chess and in terms of play, according to Kramnik’s opinion, Anand is in no way weaker than Kasparov. Subscribe on YouTube Let me also tell you some interesting facts about Vishy Anand. For example, Vishwanathan is his father’s name and his given name is Anand. Apart from /Tamil and English, he is also fluent in French, German, and Spanish languages. A minor planet discovered in 1988 has been officially named “(4538) Vishyanand.” However, the most significant fact that proves that Anand deserves to be on the list of candidates is that he is the only player to have won the world chess championship in the tournament, match, and knockout format, as well as rapid time controls. Let me now demonstrate the best game played by Vishy Anand. It was his game against Vladimir Kramnik played in 2008. In this video you learned about Vishy Anand, the best Indian chess player. Thank you for watching and make sure to like this video, subscribe to my channel and share it with your friends - chess players. I hope you enjoyed this video and liked the game analysis. But if you think that it wasn’t the best Vishy’s game and there is another game in his chess career that more deserves to be the best, please, share it into the comment section below this video. Hey, I saw a fun game! This is how it works. Members count up (note: members can't count twice in a row), starting at zero. Everytime a admin, SA, or coordinator says something, it breaks the chain and we start over! Let's begin! HighScore: Note: If our highscore is past one-hundred members win! By the Way: If a member says the wrong number, the chain restarts!
