Recently I started to study Botvinnik's method of preparation as a beginning of the preparation against my opponents. Surprisingly enough, I like it. Of course, it is just a beginning but later on I want to switch gradually from Botvinnik to Kasparov. Maybe someone will find it useful. Good Evening club members, this is Ritheeshchess with some useful material and for today's news, we are going to be learning how to develop your chess pieces Just like Kings developing their army, chess follows the same principle Why developing of chess pieces are important? In chess, you need all your pieces in play to have the best chance of winning. ... Being ahead in development is a good thing because whoever has their pieces ready first can attack first and their chances of winning are more higher than their opponent and can defend in some cases also achieving control in the center. Here are some tips to develop your pieces 1. First you need to develop your pawns in the d- file or the e-file because developing in these areas will help you gain control of the center of the board. Then develop your knights and bishops after developing your kingside/ queenside pawns for me I like to develop the knight first since it comes to an active square and can defend your pawns controlling the center. Then develop bishop and then castle Kingside. (If you want to castle queenside you can do but you have to move your queen to an active square and castling queenside is aggresive.) This compeletes the opening game. Here are some tips you should avoid and learn during developing your pieces Don't make too many pawn moves. Don't bring your queen out too early. Don't move the same piece twice. Castle early. ... Develop towards the centre. Clear the back rank and connect your rooks. Attack (Develop) Towards the Center! Develop Plans, Not Just Pieces! And thats all for today THANK YOU ALL AND HAVE A NICE DAY!

Right now I am studying Alekhin's chess life. I like his style and plan diversification for different positions. I read about Bogoljubov and his interesting personality. Worth it to study some games from these World Chess Championships? If you have some suggestions, comment below. Alekhine-Bogoljubov 1929 Euwe - Alekhine 1937

In chess, many chess players fail to play the endgames correctly even higher levels and tournaments and also some GM's. ENDGAMES in chess are the most crucial stages in chess games and each and every move should be played very carefully as 1 move can change the entire game. Endgames also require lot of very accurate and good moves and you should be very aggressive while moving chess pieces and not play passive with your chess pieces. There are many kinds of endgames in chess. And the main strategy in the endgame is The stronger side (the one with more material using the standard piece point count system) should try to exchange pieces (knights, bishops, rooks, and queens), while avoiding the exchange of pawns. ... This generally makes it easier to convert a material advantage into a won game. and in some cases with low material you can draw the game. Here are some was to master chess endgames: Dedicate enough time to studying endings. ... Study practical positions. ... Use “easy-to-hard” approach. ... Don't be intimidated by the endgames. ... Practice the most common endgames with a partner. ... Analyze important endgames played by GMs. ... Track your endgame statistics. Also you can watch youtube videos on how to play endgames. Increase your knowledge of fundamental endgames. Improve your endgame technique. Complete these endgame lessons. Learn to play these practical endgames with Chess.com/drills. Practice these exercises with a partner. Solidify your endgame play with practical review. Take quizzes on endgames. Analyze your endgames. (very important) CHESS ENDGAME RULES: Master the basic checkmates Master the basics of technique Push passed pawn Activate your king Play "Backwards-to-Forwards" Chess Beware of "German Words"! Find and use the pawn majority Use the principle of two weaknesses Be Concrete & Calculate! Fewer Pieces = Less Room for Error! And thats all is for ENDGAMES. THANK YOU ALL AND HAVE A NICE DAY! Hi everyone, I'm Kuukyker2. This is my first time in a club. Thanks to YouTube, I finally found a club that suitable to me. And thanks to ChessTalk, I've learnt many new skills that i would never know. Today I want to show you an opening that I found accidentally a few weeks ago. I also researched about that a little bit and tested it in live chess many times. I think it's not too bad. I have a little problem about the name of it. Especially in some few variations. I've named variations so i can just remember it, and change it later. For now the name of the opening is English Opening: King's English Variation, Scandinavian Variation. Because it looks like the Scandinavian Defense after 1. e4 d5. I also will show you some variations of it: 1.c4 e5 2.d4-English Opening: King's English Variation, Scandinavian Variation. (2...cxd4-Accepted(3.Nf3-King's Knight Variation*Main Line*)(3.e3-Accelerated Main Line)(Qxd4-Old Main Line)) (2...e4-Advance Variation) (2...Nc6-Queen's Knight Defense) (2...f6-King's Slav Defense) (2...d6-Queen's Philidor Defense) By the way, maybe some of you may check out my account and see my elo is really low. Actually (it's not really smurf) my elo is really weird like this ( a friend told me i just like Ivanchuk). Sometimes I can defeat a 2000+ (total now is about 5 times and played about 7-9 times) but sometimes lose to a 900+( one move blunders mostly )(You can check out in some matches history). Thanks for reading this forum, I really appreciate your comments. Leave me some so I can keep develop the opening like develop my skills.

ABOUT KNIGHTS: Knights in a game of chess are more important than pawns, but less important than bishops, kings, or queens. Their purpose in the game of chess is to protect the more important pieces, and they can be sacrificed to save those pieces just as pawns can. Why are Knights Improtant? Knights are the only chess pieces that can jump over other chess pieces. Knights have the ability to check and capture major pieces like king, queen or rook even if they remain in the safety of a crowd of pawns and other pieces. It can also easily escape capture by simply jumping over pieces. knights cover close ends and pieces that are close. It moves in an 'L' shape. It is the only piece that can jump over other pieces and its so powerful that it can control 8 squares, just like the king. Knights are very aggresive in close areas and it is the best piece for defence. In my opinion i would say that the Knight is the second best piece in defence before a queen because of the 'L' shape movement. Knights are also very dangerous in Forks and the most common fork you will see in many games is Nf7(Knight F7 check forking the king and rook.) So many opponents need to be careful about knights since they are very dangerous while forking and defending close areas. Conclusion: Seeing the powers of knights, the knight and the bishop are worth 3 points. Some sources say that the bishop is better since it can defend long open diagonals whereas knights can defend best in areas where its close to the pieces. Bishops are also really good in Skewing pieces whereas Knight are really good in forking(double attacking) pieces. THANK YOU ALL AND HAVE A NICE DAYRitheeshchess
