Hello everyone! As you know the season is coming to an end and soon our season 2 will start with lots of variant fun! We have been having some special events which are some of the FINALS games, we so far have covered 3 of them. The last and most important game is on Monday at (7 PM CDT - 8 PM EST) between @Stealthnight (SB2 versus @Leon_Likes_Chess (VV). We will also have a very special coverage from @Goldenlion77 on https://twitch.tv/goldenlion77 Please join us there! We will be also having 2 Super Tournaments where ALL members can celebrate in NSPVCL. The tournaments are Swiss and are 3|0 Blitz, 1 tournament is for U1600 and the other is Open for all ratings! They will be also played on Monday at (5 PM EST - 9 PM GMT) We will have a short break after the tourneys and then the final match up! The playoffs format is no good.. you have it so we only play 4 games for the playoffs! and you don't have tiebreak odds! The playoffs should be that 2 games of each variant and played with a 5 min time control (8 games in total) this will reduce the chances of a draw.. and if they draw, the higher seed moves on. The whole point of playoffs is to get the higher seed!!! Draw odds are necessary! The finals should have a replay of 3/2 if they draw the first time.. then higher seed wins if they draw again
