This was a suggested ideain holo's thread. I made a new thread for two reasons:

-Holo has blocked me so I can't post on the thread (I would like to join).

-Given that it will need some planning and it wasn't the subject of holo's thread that felt like a better decision then hijaking the thread. We can discuss the rules and make a list of players here

We can make it a single round robin, maybe we can have a team chess bulldog competition, like the PCL.

I'm totally in. I think we should make it like a standard team match. The highest-rated legend faces the highest rated rookie in one game, the second-highest faces the second-highest, and etc. Then points are added up to decide which team wins.

I'm in! Martin? We could really use you. And we should delay this until we get all the major players in. Certainly delay it until Martin has time. And it'd be good to get vick in as well.

we should have two tournaments, one for under 1350 and one that is open, under 1350 may join the open also.
