Practical and the faux wood looks good. Is it weighted? Thanks for sharing.
Plastic Zagreb set?

Did you actually get the set in the picture?
I had ordered the yugo set from house of chess in ringy rosewood, but received a set that looks just like the Bellevue high polymer or the chess bazaar version OLD 1959 RUSSIAN ZAGREB STAUNTON CHESS PIECES.
The set I bought is real wood and moderately weighted. It looks really nice in person. This photo isn’t great but shows the pieces on the board. I’d just like to find something equivalent in plastic if available
I know the start up costs of plastic sets is pricey, but I would love to see more styles available plastic. I haven't seen a Zagreb in plastic, the closest are Dubrovnik style 1 and 2.

I just recently bought a acacia and boxwood 3-3/4" Zagreb set from house of chess. They actually call it Yugo. It turns out I absolutely love it and it's extremely playable. Easy to identify and grab pieces. Very durable because it doesn't have any sharp points or edges. Does anyone make a plastic version of the zagreb for travel and club use? I only found one on amazon called the Bellevue high polymer. It's very tacky looking and almost the same cost as a wood set. Any others?
