1. What book, specify, your title is confusing.
2. If you’re a true beginner, maybe learned chess a mont or two ago, then maybe. If it’s a puzzles and tactics book, I would suggest no, because (I feel) that learning basic defensive strategies and how to play middle and endgames is more important.
3. I can’t tell u if you’ll improve, because that’s you. If you truly want to get better, believe that you can, and really pay attention (and don’t play bullet it’s too addicting, trust me, I know) then yes, you will improve. GL

Also, I see that you joined 10 months ago, but have only played 11 games, done 166 puzzles, and 5 lessons.

So starting to actually play and learn would help.

Play Winning Chess is excellent! I went through other different materials and methods for tactics and openings so I only wanted chapters 3-4 about space and pawn structure. Both chapters were excellent. I read a little on chapters 1-2 and both also seemed just as good. Discovering Chess Openings specifically chapters 1-3 are excellent for beginners. It teaches very simple basic principles. I can't recommend it enough.
