Again, not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with him, but the fact that there exist a few women who are GMs does not disprove the idea in general. He lost a few games to probably the strongest woman player in history. That doesn't render his idea invalid in the slightest. Anyone who responds to his claims by bringing up that he has losses to GM Polyar in the past probably lacks rhetorical understanding, as it is a basic version of an ad hominem attack.

Most men and most women don't give much of a toss about mathematics, physics, engineering... the question is, once you're dealing with those who are interested, is there a visible difference between the sexes?

Yes Gil, it's important to know if men outrank women, i think that became irrelevant though after the age of 7.
