Dostoevsky said, "If there is no God, then all things are permitted." He wasn't making a case or the existence of God, but rather what he percieved to be the consequences of what the guy in the video calls moral skepticism.
Dostoevsky's opinion was that no human had the moral strength nor that a relativistic moral system could exist that would be adequate to govern the affairs of men. It was based entirely on the practical consequences of such ideas. It's interesting when you see concepts like this one addressed by people separated by so much time.
