I think only the very top players make good money from actually playing the game. So other than becoming a chess streamer / influencer I don't think there's much!
The affiliate program seems to be chess.com making modest payments or providing gift subscriptions to members that get them a lot of new premium subscribers - or you have a club with a lot of members in.
I think it's best to just enjoy playing the game really.
Chess is for entertainment, not money.

You only earn money if u are a grandmaster or smth and u are actually paid to take part in tournaments I think.
Those days pretty face is enough to make money from streaming even chess...
