I had some strong opinions about how the forums could be better, but it had nothing to do with toxicity or my preference (or lack thereof) for competitor sites.
None of that matters now because I'm trying to make myself a better person, and these forums don't need to be a part of my life.

I don't think it matters to the people who "run" this site anyhow. After several years of complaints about the use of hypersensitive bots to regulate naughty words that might offend the feebleminded, it's apparent that they're OK with the attenuation of the community aspects of this site. Tons of kids now roam the site and have ruined the forums here with their infantile nonsense. Heaven forfend that one of the tykes reads one of the words they use every day!
