Yeh. The only way a king can "give check" is if it moves revealing a discovered check. Also there is no acheivment called 'killer king'

To get a killer award, you must move a certain piece to deliver checkmate like you could have killer pawn if you promote your pawn into a queen and checkmate the opponent.

"Movie Star" achievement is the kind of hard because you have to watch 1,000 videos and TV junkie is also hard because you kinda need glasses and you need to watch it full day,but there is some tricks such as putting it on the screen and not doing anything with it,same as couch potato
it doesn't take 1000 videos, it's bugged, just click in and out of a couple and you'll get it
just play chesstv in the background when someone's streaming on it for awhile and you'll get it
