In "An Improvement Plan", Dan Heisman says to get three books for the 2nd Step of Chess Development: A Tactics Book (Chess Tactics for Students), a Game Book (Logical Chess: Move by Move), and a "talky" book to learn general principles and what he calls board vision (Everyone's 2nd Chess Book). Here lies the problem. Everyone's 2nd Chess Book has gone out of distribution, according to Heisman. So, what's a good alternative that's still in distribution?
