You will be hard pressed to do any better than the two books you have named.  They are equally good.  On the topic, those two are at the top of my list.

If you haven’t read Chernev’s Logical Chess Move by Move, you should. That’s the canonical text for converting positional buildup into a final mating attack sequence. If you have read and digested that book, then next is Vukovic’s Art of Attack.
