Chess book recommendations for my level

Sort:
HenryHamstring

I have been having a hard time figuring out which chess books I should buy to improve my chess. Would anybody be able to kindly recommend me some books? Below are my ratings for each category on this website in case it helps to inform any recommendations

Rapid: 1500

Blitz: 1400

Bullet: 1400

Puzzles: 2100

I think my biggest weakness is my positional play.

Thanks

Helps you understand how to learn chess.

Introduction to Algorithms by CLRS will help you understand the basics. From there, i'd recommend applying to Google's Alpha Zero team.

Modern Chess Strategy, by Ludek Pachman

My System, by Aaron Nimzowitsch

Agree with above: Pachman, Modern chess strategy. (or his multivolume series). If you play d4 then Sokolov, Winning chess middlegames is great.
