I don't know much about the product but I'm pretty sure those are stored in a binary format. I have see some utilities that can extract to pgn but I don't know if any support newer versions.
If there are utilities that support the newer versions the scripting of extracting and merging the pgns is fairly easy. Assuming that the program doesn't have a built-in method to quickly merge mutiple databases.
Anybody knows anything about ChessBase file format? I've just got Fritz 14 software and have been learning about CB format. How do I merge several CB databases? I mean, there's instruction how to copy games from one CB database to another, so one could open one database, copy all games into another database and so on. But what if there are 200 or so databases to be merged? Another question, how do I rename/delete CB database? There is about 15-20 files associated with each database.
