With the board as a standalone device, without it being connected to anything, a button press at the start and end of your OTB game will record all the moves. The board will store a good number of these (10?). When the board is then attached to the Windows or Mac app it will upload those games to the computer and you will have access to the PGN files of your games to take elsewhere and analyse.

Hi! I am relatively new to chess, and to digital chessboards in particular.
I want to play more physical games and I have a local player to play with. However, one part that I really enjoy with online play is being able to analyze the game afterwards. What moves were good, bad, etc.
I am thinking of buying a chessnut air. One important use case is to play games locally and then analyze them on chess.com. Is that possible? Does the integration allow you to do that? Today we have to type in every move in the “pass and play” mode, which is clunky, especially for faster games.
I see many posts about playing online, but the purpose here is to meet physically, play a game, and then analyze it together with a computer. I just want to make sure that works before buying it.
