Good Chess Bag?

I have had several custom chess set storage and carry bags made by this artisan. Some in felt, some in leather. All are fantastic.

I've had the same problem with made in China chess bags with plastic zippers. These zippers invariably get stuck. I recommend to get a bag with metal zippers.
You might check out small or medium nylon or canvas gym or duffel bags...for example...

There is a trick to zipping & unzipping these zippers (in fact, any zipper), which I found by trial and error. If it is done correctly, as I describe below, the zipper will not get stuck. At least, I have never had a zipper get stuck when doing this (for years now).
The trick is to pull (i.e, exerting forces) on the zipper in two directions simultaneously!. Before laughing, let me try to explain. (It’s simple to do, less simple to describe)…
The first pulling direction (force) is to pull the zipper handle along the direction of the zipper (as you normally would) This is one of the two pulling directions. Now the trick is to SIMULTANEOUSLY PULL OUTWARD on the zipper handle (away from the bag) and perpendicular to the direction of the zipper. Thus you are simultaneously exerting forces on the zipper in two directions, perpendicular to each other, while zipping & unzipping.
For example, consider a duffel bag placed on the floor with its zipper running lengthwise along the top of the bag, so that the zipper is running in a horizontal orientation. Now, while zipping or unzipping the bag, you will not only pull the zipper handle horizontally along the direction/length of the zipper (as you normally would), but AT THE SAME TIME pull on the handle with a force that is directed outward/upward, perpendicular to the the horizontal plane of the zipper. Maintain this perpendicular force (i.e., tension) while you also pull the zipper handle along the direction of the zipper.
Bottom Line - is to maintain (using the zipper handle) a perpendicular force (i.e., tension) on the zipper, while simultaneously pulling the handle along the direction of the zipper as you normally would.
I hope these instructions aren't too confusing. This trick has not failed me yet!

I have one that came with my set, and it doesn't have the best zippers. Any suggestions for a good bag with good zippers? I use it to take my "mouse pad" chess board, pieces, and clock to coffee shop chess. It will take a beaten by being on the floor.
