Let me see if I understand what you're doing. You want to use Arena/Houdini to analyze moves for an economy chess game you're playing over the internet, right? But you're actually playing the game in Arena, also?
It seems to me that you really need to put Arena into edit mode instead of actually playing the game against Houdini. Click on the Edit button on the navigation bar; That puts you into edit mode where you can move for both sides, and analyze the positions by also clicking on the Analysis button (also on the navigation bar).
To get the clock back, you can set this either via the appearance menu, or by right-clicking the area where the clocks normally are. Hope that gets you on the right track.
Hey all,
Right now I am playing a game of Economy Chess against Boletus_CZ. I am supported by houdini 1.5 (he knows Im using that)
However, Arena ends the game everytime becuase the clock has ran out of time. ("black forfeited on time")
I dont want any time to run, I just want to analyse. So is there anyway I can stop the clock?
Ive been trying things and right now Ive hidden the clock.. but I cant find how to get the clock back??
Its still forfeiting games, but I cant see it...
Thanks for your help!
