Hello everyone! I'm currently decorating my chess board, already have made a few doodles on the sides. On the main board my idea was to write down some chess related information/facts or something like that. I would like to write something on each of the white squares. These are the ideas I have already come up with:

1) First World Champions;

2) Latest World Champions;

3) White e4 openings;

4) White d4 openings;

5) Black e4 openings;

6) Black d4 openings;

7) Random openings;

8) Top gambits;

9) Chess ranking (FM; NM; etc...)

10) - 15) Chess facts.

16) Famous Chess draws.

If You have any other ideas, let me know!

I decorated it like this, using 0.4mm Universal permanent marker!

That looks good! Maybe if you could find a a way to write with white paint you could do the dark squares too?

You could use chess principles: e.g.: “passed pawns must be pushed”, “look to improve your worst piece” etc. Maybe you could find 32 or 64 of these.
