DGT Pi already released. Should be quite a good combination with e-boards. Let's see how it all envolves.
What do you guys think about it?
If anyone interested in the new clock - compuier DGT Pi here is the seller:
Pretty cool the way they got the robot arm to work with a DGT board but I think that for $310, it should give lessons.
/ Oh, sorry. You mean it doesn't have a robot arm? It's just a chess clock showing the move notation and incorporating the functionality of the engines everyone already has running on their phones and computers?
Incorporating computer engines in a chess clock that costs five times as much as a plain clock?
Exactly who do they think will buy this? People who aren't beaten convincingly enough by their Iphones?
/ It's nice to have the DGT boards for major tournaments. They are very expensive but seem a reasonable expense to help automate transmission. The Pi, incorporating engines in a chess clock, can't be used in a tournament, can it? That would seem to be is just asking for trouble.
