Certainly the most incredible collection of Dubrovnik sets I’ve heard about. Too bad the details/ info wasn’t a little more forth coming

It’s quite simple to sell something online, in such a way that the buyer can trust the seller, feel protected, and have it be a pleasant transaction.

Apparently that seller has never grasped that concept. Also, a clear picture is worth more than anything else.

It was likely a scam.  Some red flags:

  1. It was a recently created account t
  2. the original poster would not publicly share photos of the chess sets (or links to a past sale).
  3. reports from others about inconsistent pricing

i never reached out to the individual, however, I expect the seller would continue to insist on being anonymous.  I’m really curious about method of payment…. Amazon gift cards?  Western union?  Venmo?  None of these methods protect the purchaser from getting scammed.
