hello is the revelation ii worth the money and any good to help an intermediate player progress

I considered it a while back, but in the end decided to just get the DGT e-board and use my laptop with it; this gave me the same features for $2k less.  I figured that if I find it useful, I'd sell the DGT e-board (or just keep it) and buy the Revelation.  However, as it turns out, immediate OTB game feedback wasn't useful to me, more of a distraction (I'm a beginner at chess though).

Thanks for the info. I have also decided to go the same route. My DGT board arrived yestwrday.  I am a weak player so hopefully this will help me progress
